Adv. Eitan Tzafrir is a partner, since 2016, at the firm’s Administrative Law, Tender Law and Regulation Department.

With 17 years of practical and broad experience in Law and in Regulation,  and holding key roles in the public sector, Tzafrir offers comprehensive service to his clients based with a broad perspective.

Eitan Tzafrir is a partner at Firon’s Administrative Law, Tenders and Regulation practice. Eitan specializing in constitutional, regulatory and administrative law.

Prior to joining the firm in 2016, he was head of the law firm Eitan Tzafrir & Co.

Eitan has extensive know-how and many years of experience in advising and representing leading companies and organizations in the Israeli economy in the different fields of regulation before the various regulators. He has expertise in building regulatory plans in different areas including by analyzing and monitoring of entry barriers, and designing legal tools to achieve the client’s objectives.

Eitan’s clients include companies in the food, communications, tourism and transport sectors.

The Latin saying “Acta Non Verba”, meaning “Actions not Words”, reflects Eitan’s approach to his work. His extensive experience, his skill and his uncompromising striving for excellence have earned him the appreciation of his clients for his achievements on their behalf.

Eitan Tzafrir is the Chair of the Regulation Committee of the Israel Bar Association, Chair of the Employment Committee at the Ministry of Defense, Chair of the Appeals Committee for War Damage Compensation at the Tax Authority, a member of the Appeals Committee under the Disabled Persons Law (Benefits and Rehabilitation). He is certified in the Compliance Officers course by the International Compliance Association (ICA), a lecturer in the Compliance Officers course at the Israel Bar Association, Academic Director and lecturer in the Artificial Intelligence course for lawyers published by The Israel Bar Publishing House, and host of the “AITECH” podcast – discussing technology, regulation, law, and everything in between. This podcast is produced by The Israel Bar Publishing House.

Eitan previously served as a senior advisor to the Cabinet Secretary and as Chief of Staff for the Minister of Communications and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In these roles, he played a central part in reforming the way in which the Knesset and government interacted with various authorities. He was also editor-in-chief of the Hebrew University Law Faculty’s Journal, served as the first director of the Moreshet Plan for rebuilding a national heritage infrastructure, and represented the Prime Minister’s office on the committee for compensation claims for freezing construction in Judea and Samaria.
