The Hungarian Cube has lost its right to exclusivity

The District Court recently ruled that trademarks cannot be registered on the three-dimensional configuration of the original cube, and in light of this, similar cubes can now be sold under other names.

By doing so, the Court accepted the position of the company, Extreme Toys, which was represented by Advocates Eran Presenti and Tzili Olshan Yariv from our firm, and dismissed the appeal by the owner of the Rubik’s Cube brand.
