A petition submitted by landowners in the community of Ganot, seeking to cancel the tenders for the marketing of land designated for single-family homes in the locality, was filed against the Israel Land Authority.
The landowners argue that the expansion plan should be canceled, as the local cooperative association has already revoked it, deeming it unfeasible, and is now advancing an alternative plan that is in its final stages.
Alternatively, the landowners are demanding full enforcement of the remedies promised to them under agreements with the cooperative association—agreements that originally formed the basis for the expansion plan.
The residents of Ganot are represented by Adv. Naama Zer Kavod, a partner in our Administrative Law, Tenders, and Regulation department, and Adv. Lidor Shloosh from our Litigation department.
