Starting in 2023 – the “Don’t Call Me” database
On Sunday January 1, 2023 Amendment No. 61 to the Consumer Protection Law comes into force. The Amendment states that the Consumer Protection Authority will set up and manage a database of phone numbers of consumers who do not wish to receive approaches from marketers. The Amendment imposes a ban on dealers making marketing approaches to any consumer whose phone number is registered on the database.
