Who is considered a financial corporation?
A new draft regulation proposes to amend the definition set forth in the Concentration Law for financial corporations to include a range of entities regulated by law as real corporations. Tzur Shamir Company has approached the Minister of Finance through Attorneys Raz Nazri and Nadim Aboud, requesting that he exercise the authority granted by law to declare license holders for providing credit as financial entities. They argued that several corporations listed by Tzur Shamir, including Direct Insurance Financial Investments, IDI Insurance Company, Nima Shafa, and Direct Finance, are considered real corporations.
