Client update – Class Actions
Adv. Ravit Koren-Perry, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Dept., Class Action and Accessibility practice., has prepared an important client update following a decision by the District Court in March 2025.
The court rejected a request for approval of a class action lawsuit filed against our clients, concerning an alleged violation of the Spam Law, based on the claim that promotional messages were sent to the plaintiff without his consent.
This decision serves as an important reminder and a call for the adoption of a careful and stringent policy regarding obtaining clients’ consent before sending promotional communications.
