The book is the culmination of years of dedicated research conducted at the Ben-Gurion Research Institute for the Study of Israel and Zionism. Following a rigorous academic peer – review process, the University elected to publish the book, recognizing its importance as a key reference in the field of planning and development in Israel.

The book explores urban planning issues in both Israel and the broader global context, with a particular focus on the planning of Arab localities in Israel. It addresses topics such as modern city planning of Arab localities in Israel.
