We are pleased to announce the publication of the book by Adv. Dr. Kais Nasser, “Public, Participation and Land: Urban Planning for the Arab Population in Israel”, released under the auspices of Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
The book is the culmination of years of dedicated research conducted at the Ben-Gurion Research Institute for the Study of Israel and Zionism. Following a rigorous academic peer – review process, the University elected to publish the book, recognizing its importance as a key reference in the field of planning and development in Israel.
The book explores urban planning issues in both Israel and the broader global context, with a particular focus on the planning of Arab localities in Israel. It addresses topics such as modern city planning of Arab localities in Israel. It addresses topics such as modern city planning, land consolidation and partition schemes, the planning and building laws that govern the complex interaction between planning, society and culture.
