Yair Green

Yair Green is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Infrastructure and Project Financing department. Prior to joining the firm in 2013, Yair worked in the commercial department of a leading law firm (2011-2013).

Yair forms a major and leading part of the real estate department’s urban renewal team, which won first prize in 2019 and 2021 for the representing of developers in the urban renewal sector, in the Urban Renewal Index ranked in partnership with Madlan.

Yair has extensive experience in supporting complex projects in the field of urban renewal. Such experience is unique considering the many projects he supported over many years. This experience includes representing leading developers in this field, representing apartment owners, supporting contractors in large scale agreements, handling financing agreements for projects, as well as supporting arrangements for different and substantive registration issues for similar projects.

In addition, Yair’s experience in the field of urban renewal, Yair also deals with supporting purchasing groups, from the acquisition of the land through to completing the project. In addition, Yair supports on a routine basis a range of diverse deals in the real estate sector including combination deals, all types of sale deals, and more.

The extensive activities of Yair in the urban renewal sector, and his uncommon practical experience in the field, assists the developers whom he supports incorrectly assessing the risks and threats in different projects and equips them with the appropriate tools to cope with the various challenges common in projects of this kind.

Yair puts at the disposal of his clients his comprehensive legal expertise and personal touch, which includes support of all stages of a project including preliminary checks, the zoning and planning procedure and permits, and the promotion of every stage of the project.

Yair has and continues to support in recent years many dozens of urban renewal projects including dozens of projects that have already been completed and occupied by apartment owners and buyers. The Yair supports are diverse and include TAMA 38/1 projects (strengthening and adding to the building), TAMA 38/2 (demolition and reconstruction), large scale eviction and reconstruction projects, and more. The various projects are implemented throughout the country including in Tel Aviv, Ramat Hasharon, Ra’anana, Herzliya, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Holon, Bat Yam and more.
