M. Firon & Co.'s Construction Projects team advises on commercial property development transactions, many of which are major cross-border construction projects. The team represents clients in their various capacities, whether it be as the employer, main contractor or subcontractor of a project. Indeed, our team has ascertained knowledge and experience with regard to both local and international projects of all types and scale as well as the vast range of construction contracts applicable to such projects, in particular contracts published by FIDIC and the AIA. The team also represents its clients vis-à-vis both public and private entities. Members of the Construction Projects legal team possess expertise in corporate project financing, infrastructure development, and real estate, as well as an intimate knowledge of the most recent legislative developments in the field. The team also possesses experience and expertise in relation to projects in the field of marine works. The Construction finance team accompanies clients throughout the entire construction process, from the choice of corporate structure to be assumed in Israel through financing with Israeli banks, development and registration procedures, including the registration of local and foreign corporations with the Contractors Registrar for the purpose of executing construction and engineering work. The Construction Litigation and Mediation team represents local and international contractors, architects/engineers, and construction managers in all types of construction damage issues and property development disputes, including delay and disruption claims, default terminations, design changes and defects, concealed conditions, and structural failures. To give an idea of the team's ability it has represented construction managers and contractors in major projects such as for the construction of an airport terminal, a large sheltered housing project, various hospitals, hotels, commercial centers and many more other large scale projects.
