As head of the firm's M&A department, Jacob leverages his interdisciplinary background and education in the legal, financial and high-technology industries, to maintain a diverse practice spanning across all areas of civil and commercial law, representing corporations, businessmen and entrepreneurs, in Israel and abroad.  In addition, Jacob is an accomplished litigator with vast experience in handling high profile cases before all instances of the Israeli courts, as well as in ADR proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Jacob was a partner and head of the litigation department at the Tel Aviv firm of Zysman, Aharoni, Gayer & Co., before which he had been a founding partner of the Tel Aviv law firm of Kedem, Pail, Enoch. Earlier in his career he served as an officer and a senior prosecutor in the Military Advocate General Unit of the IDF.
Jacob also worked as an investment banker for Salomon, Smith, Barney in New York and as the Executive Vice President of a software company with operations in Israel and in the US, in the field of pharmaceuticals.
Jacob is also a lecturer at the Buchman Faculty of Law, Tel Aviv university, where he teaches a simulated transaction course.
